At Karyaa Foundation, we believe that a child who understands food can shape their future regardless of where they’re born. Our mission began with simple sessions in orphanages. Today, it’s a growing movement to build nutrition-aware communities across India.
We are committed to empowering children, caregivers, and communities with the knowledge they need to make better food choices. By teaching kids and families the principles of nutrition, we’re giving them the tools to break the cycle of malnutrition, build better health, and create lasting change.

73% of the population is protein-deficient
1 in every 3 children under 5 is malnourished
Millions of children start their day with empty calories or no breakfast at all
For many families, food is about filling stomachs, not fueling growth.
Poor dietary choices driven by low awareness, affordability and availability is creating a silent crisis: undernourished bodies, stunted growth and compromised learning potential.
We believe nutrition is the foundation of development a well-fed child is more likely to thrive in school, stay healthy and break the cycle of poverty.
